Hi, I'm looking to replace my rear shock absorbers on my 2006 Liberty Renegade. The other day while driving down a rough paved road my back end bottomed out. I have to say there were 5 seated people two adults and 3 teenagers. I went to the dealer a bought 2 replacement shocks he told me they were HD or at least (stiffer)better than the originals it came with. Now I also suppose new shocks would better help control the rear end on dampening(compression and rebound). I been looking at the more populer brands of shocks and its confusing. I ruled out Monroe's sensa trac because its more for cute utes and Monroe does not make the Reflex for the Liberty. So now I'm looking at Rancho's RS5000 series or Bilsteins BST series HD. What are your experiences would be a good replacement. I use my rig on and off road but nothing to extreme. I'm an outdoors man and like to go fishing where others don't thread. Thanks

hard to go wrong with rancho or bilsten

from your description it sounds like you'd be just fine with a 5000 series rancho or the RSX if their available

you need to replace the springs as well, shocks will not take up for worn out suspension
