I have major oil leaking just before the muffler Out of the exhaust system.Ok I checked the oil lines to the turbo they looked fine took the upper and lower heat sheilds off really couldn't see any signs oil was leaking at these metioned points.
Turbo was oil wet at the bottom of the caseing. The big rubber hose coming from front of the radiator had plenty of oil in it to. Is this normal? It's almost like a fog machine.

Oil in the hoses to and from the Charged Air Cooler (CAC) is normal unless you have installed a Provent or Elephant Hose Mod (EHM) - it's blowby from the crankcase ventilation system (CCV) - the oil will also degrade the hose and cause them to split - which is why we recommend Provent/EHM and Samco Si hoses.

leaking around muffler/exhaust sounds more like the turbo seal MrMopar mentioned in your other thread.

Is a Turbo rebuild something done by a novice? I seen Ebay kits for the CRD .
Is the seal just replaceable?
Has anyone tackled a turbo before?

Any help?

Good luck with those non-Garret rebuild kits.

I have been a turbo owner for ~9 years and when a turbo goes bad I just grab a fresh replacement. Why? because its an involved process. Personally with all the stress cracks that can happen to smaller turbos, and assorted other issues I will continue to prefer to get factory built turbos. If you do chose to rebuild it yourself I would NOT recommend knock off rebuild kits. Do it right or don't do it at all is my opinion.
