Well, if this thing does not look drastically different from the Airflow, I believe I will save the cash and put it towards another upgrade, like a Frankie or some seats out of a Limited.

Just to make sure I didn't start a panic, after reading the post on page three, the price might be including installation cost as well. Incase anyone else ready that post incorrectly as I did, I would recommend waiting for a set in stone price for the product alone before making any assumptions. "You know what they say about assumptions, they make an stupid out of "u" and "umption". (quote Samuel L Jackson, I forget the movie name) :mrgreen:

I can promise that it will not sell for that price for product alone. Since the majority of us would do the install ourselves, the price would have to be competitive with the other KJ model and sell fairly equal to the other ARB snorkels out there.

The Safari Snorkel for a TJ is around $355. YJ & CJ models run $372

XJ snorkel pre-1994 is $356 while a 1995 and newer costs $496!!! What the hell? A $140 difference for the same vehicle? That does not make sense to me.

They still have not had one yet to mount on a US KJ so not positive as to final release date but we do have a price from them.

Part Number SS1130HF for gas models will be

$456.82

This is the price given to Marlin today from ARB

No pricing yet on CRD models
Now for the waiting for a better picture, if it fits right etc

Thats all I can do for now, I'm just the messenger boy!

If they are offering to get a KJ mounted with one for a serious discount (free?) so it can be shown off, I'd be more than happy to be the guinea pig for the ARB Snorkel.

I would like to be closer to the ARB shop though, maybe someone will get lucky, like Seths, brother, mother, cousin ?????? :lol:
