I know the hitch is a good place for the rear but the front doesn't seem to have anything that is there and ready to use. where would one add one or more just in case you become stuck or need to pull out a hummer

well pullin other people you'll always pull from the rear as pulling backwards is a great way to explode the front differential

but should you need to be pulled from the front, there's two spots for tow hooks which you can also use for improved recovery points using hitch draw bars and clevis' or you can get one of the TJ front hitches like several have used

Seriously? Is this a very real concern or an extremely rare occurrence? I know the KJ reverse gearing sucks so when ever possible I'll pull from the back but how much do I need to worry about pulling from the front?

unless someones about to die, like sliding off a cliff into a ravine or something, don't pull backwards, its kind of like playing with fire

the front diff is aluminum and isn't designed to bear the stresses of pulling in that fashion

you can get pulled from the front no problem

These work well - if you need to be pulled
