Just Like the US companies back in the 70s

Toyota and Honda are coasting on their names with sheep like loyalty of their customers. I drive a lot of rental cars for my job, plus I ran an Auto Repair Shop Specialized in Imports for 14 1/2 years. Toyota and Honda quality has gone down in the past few years where Ford & GM has gone up. As far as I am concerned Nisan, KIA, and even Hyundai cars drive better than Toyota and Honda.
Chrysler has produced both good quality and total junk. Rams and Jeeps along with the 300, Magnum, and Charger are on the good end. Chrysler Mini Vans have slipped a little in the past few years where the Stratus, PT Cruiser, and Neon are a total disappointment.

The game Toyota is pulling where they blame the supplier who built the accelerator peddle assemblies to Toyota specifications is totally laughable. Almost as funny as Jay Leno stating that they saw a Prius going 48MPH on the LA Freeway with a stuck accelerator :-)r

The Toyota Sheepole will remain Loyal and buy the crap about the suppler causing the problem and think of Toyota as the grand wise pooba :twisted:

Interesting timing though. The somewhat American-owned car companies, (who owns who these days), certainly not Chrysler being "an American car company" anymore, while going through serious financial trouble and needing to sell more cars suddenly get an amazing break with the two big Japanese car companies having seriously huge recalls. What amazing timing for them.

I am not one, but all of you conspiracy theorists (hypothesists) start your gabbing.......................now.
