So, i took the plunge and finally bought new tires and wheels. I decided to go with the Dura Tracs(you talked me into it Mudd  ) I also dropped out of the Moab club and stepped into the soft 8's crew. So, I am lookin for a good replacement center cap for my new rims. I am not too fond of the center caps that stick out six inches and dont know if I just wanna go without the center cap altogether. What have ppl done to combat this issue? Have seen a couple folks runnin without the center caps, not flattering to see the rust through the empty hole  . Also, will post pictures once i get these babies mounted. Should be shipped in early this week. :JEEPIN:

BTW, got 245/75 16 Dura Tracs for $158 each. Discount Tire price matched Tire Racks price before shipping. Cant beat that!!!

I am so sorry that I twisted your arm so bad you had to buy the Duratracs!
I would just paint the hub before putting the wheels on and be done, most all of those center caps rust no matter what. They do make black ones though as well

Thats one thing I fear bout the soft 8's is rust. I was gonna paint the hubs, but wanted something to look a little bit cleaner. Any tips on rust preventative for the rims as well, Mr. Tyre man? :seuss:

sorry

I think this is a pretty good answer to your question.

They are off a Wrangler. I picked them up off of ebay. They usually can be found in sets of 4 and then someone is usually selling singles so you can get one for the spare. I also used a black paint pen and painted my wheel weights so they 'blended' in with the black soft 8's. I'm pretty sure the part # is: 52059583AA.
