The fact that the NFC championship was a close game is why I am now convinced the Colts will slaughter the Saints. The Vikings played poorly and the Saints could not put them away despite infamous turnovers, dirty play by the Saints (many in the blogospheres were shocked only 1 Saint was fined by the NFL), and a stolen chant. :mrgreen:

It would be understandable if a non-dome team blamed dome noise for numerous late hits ( we couldn't hear the whistle waah). But for the home team? :roll:

New Orleans' team is as sleazy as the city. :goink:

Seriously, though. If it takes you to overtime to beat a team that handed you the ball FIVE times, that is not a good thing. Don't look to get lucky like that two games in a row. And don't look for Manning to be unmanned in the last minute.

Hehhhh. Chris Berman needs to do a "Comeon, MAN!" to that. I'm saying that I think:

A.) It will not be a low-scoring defensive battle

B.) It will not be a snoozer, 21 - 17 final with a lot of punts - a field-position game. The fans that paid $800+ for tickets will get their money's worth.

C.) It will not be a game that is decided on either a late turnover or a bad call by the refs, and ends in controversy.

D.) It will be either a good, satisfying, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat high-scoring game with many lead changes, or it will be a blowout by one team or the other with a clear winner showing by the third quarter.

There are a lot of colors to the black-and-white of either a blowout or a tight game. If I did not clarify that I meant a tight, high-scoring game, all apologies, Tokyo.

You must have watched a different game. LOTS of talk during & after the game about it. And I did not make up the fine for late hits. :twisted:

Crowd noise was the Aints' excuse, not mine.

In what division of the NFL does a team lose 5 turnovers and it is considered to be having a "good game?" If it is not a "good game," it is at best an average game but more likely 5 turnovers = a BAD game. So if you are having an average or bad game, and your opponent has a devil of a time defeating you at what their fans are claiming as a GREAT game for them..... It really is self explanatory. If ittakes your GREAT game to squeek by a team having an average or BAD game in O.T....

Manning does not have a history of imploding. Favre does. Do not look for the Colts to have an average or bad game in the Super Bowl. Do not look for Manning to implode. The odds are not in your favor on that.

I can't stand these "WHO DAT?" remarks. But I will greatly enjoy the silence of New Orleans fans when Manning shows the Saints what a real football team looks like, not some boastful players who think they're big stuff for finally making it to a Super Bowl.

I'm sure you'd feel differently if it was your Broncos playing in the Super Bowl. . . and I don't think it's the players that are being boastful. To my knowledge, none of the "Who Dat'ers" that have posted here are on the Saints roster.

All will be decided on Sunday.

So this is what it's like to be in a state of impatient anticipation for the Super Bowl? Man this is nice. . .

Yeah me too. Even though that type of past doesn't mean squat. NFL teams don't play for appearances, they play to win the Super Bowl Title. And unless you've won it, no one cares. My team won it in one of the most dominating season's in NFL history - But that too was the past.
