Hi, I am new to the site. I have a 09 kk. I Have the 2" daystar kit installed on my liberty. It has the stock 17 on it. I am wanting some feed back on what tire size i can clear with the 17 or if i should go to a 16 rim and be able to clear a larger tire. Can someone give me some ideas? Thanks

You can fit a 245/75 with no trimming, or a 255/75 if you pound down the Pinch Weld in the front

While I don't have a lift on my jeep and not sure what size you will be able to fit without problems, the size of the rim doesn't
matter. The over diameter of the tire you're interested in is what you need to look at. Though running 16s would give the illusion of a bigger tire because there will be more rubber.
Find out what is the largest tire will fit (overall diameter) then go to tirerack.com and you can look up by brand what size to buy. Remember that the size of one tire might not have the same diameter of the same size tire of a tire of a different brand.
(I know that sounds weird but go look on the web site and see for yourself)
