i'm not saying its safer.. i have one, and i mean i may be 5, maybe 10 mph on a regular basis so its helpful in that way. They do help though, Mine goes off every day on my way to school and i always see mr. popo hanging out trying ot get me. As far as fighting the ticket... it's worth it to go, i mean you really don't want to get points

besides that, i was honestly thinking about making getting something new in the future... that new thing would be some new wheels... thinking about getting some meaner wheels maybe a 16 inch rim, some meatier tired and my excuse would be , "they're for winter"

hmmm :juggle:

Well report back in.

The trip went well.
The Jack Russell cryed all the way there and back for 5 hours each way.
We gave him drugs <ICE> on the way home, it did not realy help 20 milli grams was not enough.
But it did help allot.

I found out the friendly CHP will pull you over for going 90 in a 70 zone.
This bites, first ticket in 8 years.. I try not to go over 80, but the dog was buggen me, so i wanted to end the trip sooner.
My bad.. with the court about 2 hours way, i am not sure it is worth fighting in hopes the cop does not show.
The CHP did a nice Job, they said I pulled you over for speeding and I gave them what they wanted. They gave me a ticket and i left. Nothing to tricky when you know u are wrong and do not care to fight it on the road. But if any one knows a sure fire way to get out of a Radar tick let me know. I can go to school and get out of the point, but the start fee is $266 and that hurts to most.

The Jeep dd nice 19 MPG both ways.

19 mpg for 90 mph or so not bad. Yeah they will pull you over some places for 5 mph over in the LA highways. 90 mph thats to fast anyways. So I filled up my jeep 18.11 and thought that was pushing it.

Yes I agree, I was going to fast.... for USA high way standards.

Oh well another $266 plus fees and traffic school.

Dude, we should have a ticket comparison thread. I once got 2 in a row. 94 in a 55 (I was doing about 120 before I started slowing down)... and then on the way to court for that one I got another 94 in a 65. First one cost me $700, second one was $490.

Edit: None of this was in the Jeep! lol

Thats one of my jokes  I tell every one I did that so that:

1. Save money on wax
2. Save time which equals money by not waxing :-)r

You would eat up the applicator before you could do any thing on the line x :grim:

Oh yeah lots of snow. I am up in mammoth. Drove on snow for the first time with the jeep. The stock tires did alright.

I never really paid attention to whether the ESP disengages when in 4low until I read a posting on it here some time ago. I gave it a try. The little "traction" light went solid when I shifted to 4L. I'm assuming that meant the ESP was disabled while there. The light went out when back in 4H until I gassed it broke traction. Then the usual blinky light until traction regained. Fun research.
