Devon Arnold, a 22-year-old CSU mechanical engineering student was found dead along a set of train tracks east of Denver 10 a.m. Thursday. Arnold was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
He was reported missing to the Denver Police Department on Feb. 3, said Maggie Martinez, a spokesperson for the Weld County Sheriff’s Office. He was discovered after an engineer from Burlington Northern Railroad phoned police to report a body on the tracks.
The body was found two miles east of Keenesburg in a remote area that Martinez said was far from any populated areas.

Martinez said the death does not appear to be a suicide, and could have been accidental. They continue to look into the case, and were trying to learn more about Arnold and where he was Wednesday night.............
So this guy has been in countless engineering classes with me, including in our final year, senior design. So yesterday his group is supposed to be having a big meeting and he isn't there, turns out he dissappeared wed during the middle of a basketball game. Sounds like he tried to jump a train back to fort collins, got on one heading to nebraska, and then tried to get off when he realized he was going the wrong way.
Everyone hoped he was just playing hookey from the meeting, or went and got stupid with a girl, but instead winds up dead.
My feelings go out to his family.
