My KJ CRD has a build date of April 2007, and was one of the last built before model changeover on the line I think. Before you all jump on me, I have the build sheet, and of course this is a right hand drive 'export model' because they stopped building them for the US market before this time. I am curious to know which torque convert I have but cannnot find anything in the search functions to help me out. Is it the euro TC? I checked the stickers on the transmission and get these numbers: TITT J039710781 17:34:39 462 and P52119462AE RFE. I know its a 545RFE transmission, and the P number is probably just the Mopar tranny part #. Is there a way of telling which TC is inside?

The Euro TC is a newer update part than your production.

The only way to tell what TC you have is to drop the trans, and pull the TQ to read the PN on it.

I believe the newer torque converter was made for the newer more powerfull VM 2.8L engine
