I'm also up for a 909 run.. I'm in Queens, and maybe can get some LI guys to come too.

I would be down to make a 909 run too. I've done some hiking in the area but did not know there's trails for wheeling on. Just waiting on my engine skid again! Don't know what is taking so long to ship the skid, but then at least I'm covered up to the gas tank. I know there's a bunch of rocks up that way, so I'm sure some underbody protection is a good idea.
Dean, did you get some Soft 8s for your ride? It looks like them in your avatar. Nice!

I got the rims and new (they had more tread than my previous tires) tires for 100$. Talk about a steal.

Sure, when you wanna go??? I'm down, I was thinking of heading up there soon. Heck, it would be a blast with all the snow we're going to get. I went up there a lil while ago in the snow, and it turns a green trail into a blue 2, It was all fun & games until I got stuck, lol.

I don't know the trails and there's very limited information on the trails/roads on the web. There is hunting, so I'm sure some of the 4x4 roads are hunting access roads, for parking blinds or the like. I called up the nearby Stony Kill Farm station and they are sending me a topo map of the area which they claim has the parking areas and roads listed on it.
But I don't know if I will have it in time for the Monday run, if thats a go. I should be good for a run on Monday, as long as I'm back in Astoria by 6pm.

Im not familiar with the area at all so if you want to be the one to set a location thats fine. I would say somewhere in the range of 10-11am? Hows that with everyone else?

Alright, I can go and we can meet at the Daily Planet Diner if you want. I could be there around 10:30-11:00.

Andrew, you have my cell# and I have yours although I will be comming down the Tachonic and service is spotty on that stretch of road comming through the mountains (sprint)
