this past week i was at the junk yard getting some parts and i found a key like mine... well some of you know that i only have one key to the jeep. i was wanting to know if i can get a key blank for my jeep have it cut and have this fob re-programed for my 06... the key on mine has the fob built in just like the one that i picked up

you want to re-cut the key? or you want to get a new key and add it into the key fob for the 06 key? confused...or you want to re-program the fob and just have a key to use because that is doable.

you can do it you would need a new key blank and shell to put the remote you got from the junk yard in then you would need to program the remote to the jeep after its cut.

something like this
