So ive heard that the daystar is crap and that it is Ookay. I know i know, do it right the first time. But i have someone who will sell me their daystar for 100$ and my jeep has 160k miles on it and i dont want to go dropping in $1000 for a lift which i may have to remove and sell when the time comes. If I go this route will I need anything extra to correct any problems?
Will the jeep sit at the same height (prelowered) or raised a little?

Also toying with the idea of getting some MTR's 245/75/16.

What do you think? suggestions?

And unfortunately a real lift is a little to pricey right now.

with suspension that old, its going to be a rough ride if you use the daystar, I did it with 60k on mine and it was not that good, at least maybe think about getting new struts.

Daystar is a perfectly good lift for what it is. Problem is your stock suspension is so shot and sagging after 160k it should probably be replaced. If you are on a budget and definitely not keeping the KJ, I'd recommend getting a Rusty's LIft ($465). or piecing together an OME for a little more.

Springs:
Old Man Emu Coil Springs
OME790: FRONT COILS FOR CRD (also works with GAS model w/ARB front bumper and winch) - $155/PAIR

OME927: FRONT COILS FOR GAS KJ - $151.55/PAIR

OME948: REAR COILS FOR CRD/GAS KJ $151.55 PAIR

Shocks: You will have to search for a cheaper shock than the OME, but I'll guess about $150/pair for rear shocks.

Here's the OME shocks:
Old Man Emu Front Struts
OME NS131 Heavy Duty KJ Struts for Lifted Gas or CRD KJ Liberty.
$151.55 each

This is the setup that was recommended to me. What can I do to bring the price down, does anyone have any used parts that they would sell cheap so I can piece together a lift?????

So the Rancho 17505 Replace the

"Here's the OME shocks:
Old Man Emu Front Struts
OME NS131 Heavy Duty KJ Struts for Lifted Gas or CRD KJ Liberty.
$151.55 each"

These rancho will work with HD coils?

a total savings of about 60-70$

So for the front I got the 17505's and will go with the 790s or 927s? which do you guys recommend.

For the rear skyjackerLIB25r because of their lifetime warranty. And rsx17004s for the rear, but you say I can use anything off a Durango 98-03, is that stock parts? Am i better off springing for new or will the used off a durango suffice?

Get new , using stock shocks off of a Dakota would be like using the stock junk KJ stockers would not last

Im actually confused I got these for the front, http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-Rancho_St...emble-486.aspx, and these for the rear http://www.jegs.com/p/Rancho/Rancho-...47788/10002/-1 , 801-RSX17004 . I got the correct ones right? And if they are, are infact the 17505s cheaper on jegs than jeepinbyals?

Did i fowl up?
