OK, I see some people are sitting at almost 4" of lift with doing the mods and tricks to gain extra height.

My question is... why don't you use 4" rear coils rather than the extra rear iso's?? I know we are limited in the front with doing top plate spacer and clevis to get 4"... so.. .what's the opinion?

Did mine that way due to I'm cheap and got the rear 948s for a killer deal

Tom, I was waiting for either you, Troy or Tony to chime in on this... one the KJs you mentioned, do they sit level with the front?

What 4" rear coils would you recommed then?

They all got the 4 inch from JBA, yes all sit pretty much level
no higher than what I am with two extra isolators
I actually thought they would sit higher maybe
was sort of disappointed for the cost

I appreciate it. That's what I wanted to know... the cost of the 4" coils doesn't equate to added height.. so iso's it is!

Have 4 sitting in the garage along with 3.5s, brake line extensions, Troys struts already have a 3/8" spacer on them... so... oh, I'll have your hitch soon! Just making sure I have everything before I break it down... want to do it and not have to make trips to find parts!

i find myself wishing i had gone with the 4" instead of the jba 2.5" plus 2 iso's

however, with the 4" i probably would have stuck the 2 extra iso's in there after it settled

my 2.5" coils +2 extra top iso's sit lower than the front (ome927+3conduit in clevis) now due to the extra weight of my rear bumper, tools, tank skid, etc

after i get my front bumper i'll probably go back and re-level it, at some point i'll probably have a set of custom 2.5-3" lift coils made that will take into consideration the added static weight so that they actually ride where they'ed be expected to

marlin suggested that I just get the 4" coils, but running the 4" to get the 2.5" lift kind of doesn't really sound like a great plan to me, however.. that's probably what most of the guys running the 4" end up with ??

Ohh.. so i have a question now hehe

whats the rear measurment for those guys with the 4" coils from jba, that have arb or rl, or whatever, rear bumpers and tank skids? Perhaps that would change my mind on the 4" jba's
