What have you done to your KK lately

Got my HID kit today...got it from HIDGate 6000k series slim ballast one...can't wait to install tomorrow...

Installed this:

There is a shovel mount and spare tire mount on their way, just going to take those a little while longer to get here. Ordered all of it through my shop, since we get it for wholesale. Total: $260.xx

Also replaced the donut spare with TWO, yes TWO fullsize spares.

One on top, one on bottom. Now just to find 4 more of those wheels....

Had a skid-a-thon today. :BANANA:

Installed the engine, transmission and gas tank skid plates today. The engine and transmission skid plates were easy. The gas tank one took a while to rig a way to hold up the tank after removing the origninal support.

Took a bunch of pictures and will post them later.

Now all I need is the radiator skid.

Thanks for the reference. I found it online in about 30 seconds. You can never have too many tools :twisted:

Oh, I almost forgot. I ran down the fuel level before doing the gas tank skid plate installation. When I filled it up, it took 19.005 gallons. :shock:

I guess that was close enough to empty since the tank only holds 19.5 gallons.

Lets see, tested the drive shaft for speed today.... works just fine between 75 & 97 :wink:

I will say I want wider tires to with the rims I'm running :furious:

Curious as to what this $7 mod is... Oh well.

Anyways, just ordered the fairing and shovel/axe mount for my basket. Now if only I could get ahold of one of those fireman's axe's... the one with the prybar thing on the back.. That'd be cool.
