There is a nice row of campsites facing the canal with a hill behind to block sound. They would be nice ones. Probably cost more than the others though. They are sites 59 to 86.

My wife and I went wheelin at Osceola N.F. this past weekend. Looks like Ocala was a really good choice. With all the rain we have had with the El Nino Osceola is really wet. Every trail that we took ended with us turning around when it went through a Bay head or Cyprus dome. No problem with the one foot deep puddles along the way, but when you looked ahead and saw nothing but water from tree line to tree line that looked to be three feet deep for as far as you could see it was definitely time to turn around. Osceola tends to be a bit soggy anyway. Right now is our normal dry time of the year. With the water levels as high as they are we are MUCH better off in Ocala.

Good to hear!! Woulda been a bummer to go there and end up getting flooded out of all the trails.
I think a week or two prior to the m&g I will go scope out trails and such in ONF so we know the good spots for those still stock and the 2wd Kj we got. lol

Let me know when you go to check things out. We will meet you and we can go together, just in case one of us has a problem. I think we already can show you some areas that are not appropriate for unlifted trucks and some that will be OK.

prolly not me lol...thats way out of my way...but i would if i had the time and money to do...bc going to ocala is going to be hard.....

Ok, we need a headcount! We need to know how many people will be going and how many will be camping. We should also maybe get a list set up for who will buy what for like burgers and hot dogs and such if anyone wants to do that. Or bring your own food maybe? Also, how are we going to pay for the site reservations?? Should we all just pay for our own site? Split up the cost between everyone who is camping? Suggestions are appreciated.
