She did a great job on a difficult song to sing. MUCH better than the so called stars that screw it all up on purpose!

Jeez, she is awesome. She should be at college or NFL football games for sure. Mad skill.

x200000000!

I can't stand listening to some of these, so called stars, destroy it and then the audience stand up and cheer like they did a good job.

Your wife rocked it!

Thanks again, everyone.

LSU has a tryout process every year to get a list of people together that they approve to sing the National Anthem. Then they contact you in advance to schedule you to sing at an event. She has sung for volleyball, soccer, and a women's basketball game, but this was her first baseball game. She gets to bring one guest for free - ME! (Unfortunately, the band does the anthem at football games, so no dice there. :( )

She was really nervous. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but with 6 National Championships in the past 20 years, LSU baseball games are WELL-attended. They just built a new stadium that seats a little over 10,000, and it was full-up that day. But, she gutted it out, proceeded to go out there and slam-dunk it, (or would it be a home run?) and I am confident she will be called back to sing at several more baseball games this season.

Would you happen to know a guy down there named Stuart (Stu) Stram? He would be 52 now.
