So I have a wish list that once the summer comes I'll probably start putting the things on..

Can't really decide on the lift.. I was thinking about the Rough Country or Rusty's lift for my 05' Rene

Wheels and tires I was thinking about going with 31'' General Grabbers on Crager Soft 8's

Can somebody help me out.. what backspacing do i need for the Crager's to fit without having problems with the break calibers?

Thanks, other recommendations on the lift would be great too!

Kevin

I would reconsider your lift choices. OME or Frankenlift are the most popular and desired lifts amongst those who have had experience with lifting the KJ Liberty. As for wheels, I would consider 15 X 7 with 4" backpacing.

Agree with Diesel...

Stay away from Rough Country or Rustys... you are MUCH better going with a Frakenlift or the OME set up...

I was told that 15" wheels wont work on our trucks. Something about the disks and the outer axle. Thoughts?

Several of us on the forum have 15" rims, including myself. However, you have to choose a make (style) that will fit with the our calipers. Cragars will fit with no problems.

I echo the comment to avoid the Rusty's lift and to save a few more bucks and get a Frankenlift. I have a Rusty's spacer lift my my Libby and I'm not happy with it. I'm looking at getting a Frankenlift in the spring.
