You can special order kevlar MT/Rs and duratrac's at walmart. Not sure on the price though, probably cheaper than just about anywhere else. lol
They have a few other's too. They also have a special line of tire only carried at walmart.
GY Authority. Anyone got a set of these? Their little book ranks them to be just as good as the duratracs.

There is a lot of discussion about these TIRES in the TIRE section. The GY Authority TIRE has a lengthy thread located just inside of the TIRE section located just down the list. Look for the word TIRE.

Haha, I never go into the tire section so I never knew about it. I'll go check it out.
I also just wanted to let people know WM has these tires so they can maybe save some money on them.

I know I will. 10% employee discount FTW!!

Haha, actually, no. I just didn't know if other knew.
That other thread was totally useless. I couldn't fine one statement from someone who has gotten them.
I was to know some first hand experience before I take the plunge.

Budke. I know at our store we sell them, due to them being considered an offroad tire and it does not have a warranty we do not sell as many as some other M/T's. I have given them serious consideration because they are a beefy good looking tire! People that have bought them like them. I'm curious to see how they perform offroad! :D

Here's some good reading:

And here:

(NINE pages?)

I saw a few posters in each of those threads who had some first hand experience.

Seemed like they are a pretty good tire from what I read.
Still can't decide between the mt/rs, druatracs, or authoritys.

I bought one of the Authoritys from Walmart and took it to compare to the DuraTracs.

Comparing the two I liked the DuraTracs better looks wise, tread wise and the way they felt.
Just my two cents!

There are several good reviews on the Authoritys on several sites/ forums though so its a real toss up for you.

I actually talked and saw a guy with these on his jeep and he said they are pretty much awesome. I thought they looked pretty good as well in person.

In all honesty Budke...I would either get the Walmart Wrangler tires or the treadwrights...the treadwrights are really soft, but the goodyears will last longer, and hey, they are cheap and you'll have $ left over :D

I've seen them in the store once, it was one of those things where you see it from half way across the store, and rush to go look at them...
