I'm still looking at options to replace my 31" BFG MT's, and am interested in the Super Swamper M16's. After comparing the specs, I'm confused.... :?

Image

My 31x10.50R15 BFG's show an actual diameter of 30.8", and 675 revs/mile.
The 31x10.50R16 M16's show an actual diameter of 31.3", and 722 revs/mile.

Shouldn't a larger diameter make LESS revs/mile?

The M16 33" show 668 revs/mile, and is very close to the 675 of the 31" BFG?

Why don't the numbers add up? Do Interco tires run small?

Interco is one of the few tire companies whose diameter comes close ( and even exceeds) the advertised diameter in most cases. It doesn't help your revs question, though.

Nobody knows why the revs/mile don't match up?

If Interco tires run close to (or more than) the advertised size, than I guess I should trust the 31.3" measurement for the 31" tire. Maybe manufacturers calculate revs/mile differently?
