Installed new plugs today three times. Put in the autolite's and started it up and it had a miss and flashing check engine light. So took each one back out one at a time and checked wiring plug, made sure the coilpack was in good. It started it after each one and the miss did not go away. So I reinstalled the old plugs, they weren't to bad and it runs fine. Now the auto parts guy said not to gap these plugs so i didn't, But the gap was .50. Do you think that was the problem or just bad plugs.

I would gap them to the correct specs and try it again OR take em back and try another type. I put in my right out the box...autolite plats.. they were all gapped close enough and my mileage even went up lil over 2mpg.
