Every manufacturer is different. Some cars will have that go off and it take 10 key cycles for it to clear out. Most likely it determined that they wasn't a strong enough seal. I haven't personally experienced this issue but that is my assumption is that it takes about 15 minutes of it reading the appropriate pressure then it will clear out. Can anyone confirm this?

It goes in tomorrow for its oil change (free) and to check on a new recurring problem. .... sticking throttle. Yea, Toyota's curse has found me... So obviously the guys at the dealer are super anxious to get it in the morning. Did you know they charge $220 for a trans flush??? That's nuts!

$220 is the norm for a ATF+4 flush...

put on my new wipers... and they are ridiculosusly awesome... put on a buncha stickers that i've been waiting to do. put one special sticker on that i will send pics of. guess who also installed his fastman throttle body!!!!! tweaked a few things such as the shelf which needed a lil leveling after i took it out last time, and i installed new batteries in some of the underside shelf lights... gunna add another edition to the shelf soon that the mature audience will love. i also found an interesting picture of my rear diff that i should send cause i dont know whats going on. worked on the rear mesh grill for the front bumper... just needa figure out how to keep it in there( maybe zipties?)...

on the list tomorrow is cleaning the interior( i took a buncha junk out of it today) like vacuuming, maybe even a slight detail and then washing the outside, finishing the rear grill, i need to open up the dash again and just organize some wires of the mygig/ allgig hack cause i'm getting some rattling, gunna open up my taillights n adjust the pigtail of the extra brake light i addded do the light can be easily removed, also gunna take some measurements n start on my skyslider deflector ASAP, finally im gunna hook up the playstation again.

i also am waiting on some more stickers which will be put on, i'll prob make an appointment to get my visor tint done since my windsheild was replaced a while ago, i might try that zmax additive stuff... give it a go so dont flame me its my choice n i have it since my aunt bought it for me, im also gunna clean up my HID wires n make sure everything is down tight and not rattling.

next week the truck goes to the stealership for oil and filter change ( mobil 1 oil and k&n filter again)... gunna have them check whats left of my brakes also cause i'll prob replace them next oil change as well as the sparkpulgs cause i'll be around 20k. i'm also gunna have the dealer do the new skyslider TSB, install my siderails, and i have a few PCM/TCM questions for em

i think i got a buyer for my old wheels but that won't be til around easter time which i guess is good cause i can save up and not have to kill myself makin the payment of my new wheels and tires i'll be getting

its a big next couple days for me... an im glad in getting alot done, im also getting a few things done myself including a pain management procedure for my neck, and a root canal on one of my front teeth. but everything will get done...
pictures will be posted tonight, i'm currently on break from work

A good table vise helped me do that more than anything else. U really dont have to worry about marring up the finish on that shaft. It has a super hard finish on it. i clamped down on that thing as hard as i could with some 8" VGs and nothing. Without that table vise, i dunno if i could have got it off otherwise

Sticking throttle. Results after yesterday? They said they cleaned the TB and lubed the axle rod of the butterfly. Immediately after driving it off the lot, it seems they managed to bump up the idle by about 50-80rpm. Don't know why.....?

Following SkinInc69's excellent write-up in this thread as a guide, yesterday I did the pinch seam modification to increase clearance at the rear of the front wheel wells:
Image

Like Skin, after I beat the pinch seam over (as shown above), I used silicone to seal up all exposed metal and then after a few hours applied rubberized undercoating too and then modified the plastic wheel well liner. Only took about 1 hour per side for the pinch seam modification work but then waiting for silicone or undercoating to reasonably dry or running to multiple auto parts stores to get replacement trim panel fasteners made the whole thing take about 5-6 hours, including lunch break. Wish I would've made this mod to the wheel well liners before my tires chewed them up on the pinch seam (and at the front). Oh well
