OK guys, I was able to go on some test runs with one of the coolest trailers I have seen yet. This was a test run and I was not supposed to have a camera...but I dont always play by the rules. This is one of the new models that AT Trailers is selling right now. Mario has done tons of testing on this and man it works great.

This was a test model without the tent or decals...I will try and get a few other SPY photos soon.

It has a very cool air bag suspension, LED lights. and an endless list of of cool things. The ground clearance is just unreal. Check out the photo from the rear...man you can tow these things over huge bolders.

For all you guys that might be saying.... "Oh I could build that"... man let me tell you ...WRONG. These things are just unreal..

I have seen many off road trailers but these are by far the best on the planet today.

Please don't let Mario know I posted pictures. later...Clint

didn't landrover used to sell a PTO powered trailer for its defender line? That would be sweet.

Looks like a storm was coming. I love storms. Nice trailer too. Looks like it has drum brakes, why would a trailer that small need brakes? I guess it could get heavy as you load it with stuff. It also has shocks. I wouldnt care to ride in that thing! 8)

Just get one then find reasons to go places!

A TJ is like one of the few Jeeps Clint doesn't have. That's Heather and Quinns. And it's super pretty. Hey Heather did you ever see the picture from Big Bear last year when Quinn got it stuck on a big ol boulder? Awesome that it's a cool enough rig to get half way over one before you even notice!

I would love to get ahold of a nice offroad trailer like that or any of the other Adventure Trailers. Main reason for me would be to carry a load of product to sell/deliver when I go on trail rides.

As for the brakes, I would assume they are there to help you when going down those hills on the trails. Even if the trailer is fairly light, it is still pushing against you going down hill, and I have been down a few trail hills that I wanted every bit of brake I could possibly get, even without having a trailer.

I hadn’t thought about that on the trail. I keep forgetting youre supposed to take that thing on the trail. Pulling that thing around in mud would be awful.

Mud is no big deal at all. This is one of the older models but mud, rock, trails... No problem at all. This is just one of the many mud holes we have taken these thing through. This is a small one but we have had them in deep mud and snow and ice as well. MOAB tested... By the way. they are very sealed up and will keep your gear high and dry. Later...ClintImage

Clint....I guess you let the cat out of the bag...you must have a camera in that phone I thought you were talking on ;) Well, now that everybody knows, yes we do have a new trailer. The Chaser is awesome and the suspension was built for wheeling with 26" long arms, Firestone air springs and Old Man Emu nitrogen shocks. It is the smoothest riding trailer you have ever seen. We're showing it down at the Sportsmans show in Pomona this weekend if anyone wants to see it up close. It'll be on the website in a couple of weeks. The cool thing about the Chaser is that it is available in kit form for those who are handy and you can save big $$$ that way. The one that Clint snapped the pix of would be about $4550 in kit form with the air suspension! It can be put togther in a weekend with regular hand tools, no welding required. It's got a boat load of space (46 cu ft) and is built tough like all AT products. For those of you who are interested, we plan to have 3 Chasers available for rental starting sometime in April, hopefully in time for KJ Moab. :D

Nanette, you are the coolest!! "Just get one then find reasons to go places!" Now that's an attitude I dig!

I don't think I did get the picture from Big Bear -- but I'm sure Quinn got plenty of razzing from getting my Jeep stuck. Can you send me the pic through email??

:D

Sure thing Heather! My digital camera had just died so it's in a pile of real pictures. As soon as I find it, it'll be headed towards ya.
