The part number (courtesy of Digger) is 52125385AB. I got it from moparpartsamerica.com and I think it was about $27 plus $9 shipping. I never priced the dealer. On the moparpartsamerica.com website it said the retail price was $40 so I figured that is what the dealer would charge.

Do we have a picture of this part? Does the skid package not come with this??

I don't have a picture of it but I have seen one on Digger's KK. It is also shown somewhere on the site where he showed some pictures of his KK with the bumper removed. He can probably find it quickly or take a new picture. I'll look for it and post an update with a link if I find it. It is not part of the factory skid plate group for some unknown reason but it does connect to the engine skid plate using the two holes on the front of the plate.

The prototype for the sky slider deflector is now in progress... needs some adjustments and such before it is installed and the test run is done... getting the sky slider TSB tomorrow which hopefully will solve the problem but if not i'm gunna be working on this more... haha... also in the works being able to make copies of it if it does indeed work which i will probably sell...

Those tires might not rub without a lift. I think it might be reeeally close though.

yeah i dunno haha... i have the same set up as you but i'm .4 inch less wide and .5 inches shorter haha you got a 5 " offset on an 8 inch wide wheel and your tire is 265/70/16... did you have alot of rubbing?... mike had the same tire size but on the same size rim just a +25 offset... which means i stick out about .5 inches further then he did, but he had no rub... lol

The piece of plastic that it rubs on is what's in front of the pinch weld but mines already good. If yours is still there it might need worked.

it would be best to cut a few lines through it to beat it over in sections. I've read somewhere that somebody tried beating it and was actually caving part of the floor in doing so because the pinch weld is so tough. Or straight up cut it off. Make sure to cover any bare metal exposed either way to prevent rust.

yeah i'm just gunna have them heat it up a lil to make it easier to bend... i also intend to put some cuts in it... this is if its at all necessary)... we'll see though.

so just brought the jeep to the stealership for the new 2010 TSB for the Sky Slider. Also found out that they will not do Auto Up on the passenger side of the older vehicles cause it has something ot do with change the PCM and BLAH BLAH BLAH... Also found out that if you buy parts off other jeeps don't consider purchasing the PCM cause they will not Flash you matching VIN on it.

on the list today is also mounting and balancing these tires and once my dad gets home with his truck i'm gunna load everything up and bring it to the shop. Here in NY to mount and balance a tire is 20 bucks pretty much anywhere you go, so yeah it's a bit of a pain but what ever cause i'll have my new wheels/tires haha.
Gunna see if i can bring my truck and the wheels to my Buddies house cause hes got a floor jack and i'll try and put em on the jeep. Just to confirm... I can put the jack uner the Lower control arm? as this would take the movement out of the suspension right?

thanks for allt he help guys... btw i will continue progress on the prototype sky slider deflector tonight once i get my jeep back and can take a few more measurements... if this rain hold up it will actually be A LOT easier for me... so we'll see
