Alright... so I bought a Warn M8000. I though it would come with the necessary mounting hardware. Was the ARB supposed to have that? I bought my ARB new and had a shop install it, but I don't think they gave me the spare parts back! Now I have my winch and I don't see how to mount it in there... what are my options?

You have to remove the ARB to install the winch,it sits inside the bumper. The ARB instructions include how to mount the winch. You will need to re-drill the roller fairlead with new holes to mount it to the bumper. The winch comes with all the required hardware to mount the winch.

So I need no other hardware besides the stuff that comes with the winch?

Nope, see those 4 slotted holes on the face of the bumper? Those are where the winch mounts to,it mounts "feet 1st".

Yeah, I went to the ARB website and downloaded the install guide, so I see now. But it looks like I need the license plate bracket so I can mount the control box on it. I don't have that. :banghead:

You don't need the LP bracket but you do need the control box bracket.

You can't see the drum though.

you can see it if you look sideways through the hole.. and you can wrap it looking straight in the fairlead. it's not so bad. i thought if i couldnt see it enough i'd cut the other side off to match but it hasnt been a problem.

Finished for the most part. I still need to put the fog light bezels back in and I'm still missing the control box bracket and license plate bracket. I have the control box zip tied for the time being.

I don't think I've ever seen skid marks in a parking space before.

ARB Seth can probably tell you where/how to get them.

Mate,

The entire thing should have come with your bar in the box.
You should not be spending extra $$ for parts for the winch install.

Like I said, the shop kept some parts. Namely, the license plate and control box brackets.
