Yes...my wheel (offset) choice made it seem like it barely cleared after I installed my wheels and tires but after enough wheelin' and driving, the plastic wheel well liner was worn through at the pinch weld seam.

I see so having the tire pushed out more made it closer and rub. This is what I am trying to figure out. Will on a stock tire a 235/85r16 hit? It is 31.7" x 9.5" (This tire will stick out further from each side 0.35") As from what I can tell the 265/75r16 x 10.5" will rub. (this tire will stick out further on each side by .85") But the biggest factor is the 31.7" tires. I really don't think it is a good idea to hammer the pinch weld.

found the biggest puddle aorund and drove through it doing about 25 mph... Big Splash

btw the new wheels are great for going over curbs :JEEPIN:

haha... i got to test them out today at my school... my professor needed a jump so i pulled up on the curb so i could get to the front of his car which he pulled head in.

more or less i made it my excuse to test my wheels, maybe get on my professors good side ( i smell bonus points), and give the kids in the class with the window facing me have something to watch :wink:

Today it was in the 70's for the first time this year where I live in Colorado. I got in my KK and it was hot for the first time. I guess I'll have to get a shade for the windshield (okay so I know this is pretty lame compared to getting something substantial like a lift... but its something). So not only was it a beautiful day, but I have an excuse to get something else for my KK.

Drove it around with the sunroof open. I've never had a sunroof before. It is a great way to enjoy spring. Now I just have to find a trail that isn't snow packed and do some wheeling!

I like snow

don't get me wrong. It's just that many of the great trails we have here in Colorado get so much snow in shady areas that they are impassible until late June or into July. It really isn't a good idea to try to plow through deep snow that has become hardened by melting and freezing when it is on a shelf road that has a bad drop off on one side. I almost bought the farm in my TJ years ago before learning this lesson the hard way. :dead:

then it's a JK bar... haha not a TJ.. they do make one for the Tj with 3 tabs but it's much more expensive... also if you bought it from another provider ( ebay etc) it might be an incorrect label by the poster
