NEW ARB front diff cover?

I can't picture it for sure in my head right now but isn't the front diff already protected by the engine skid

Won't work on on the D30A,it will bolt on but the front mount will be in the way and you'd have to drill a new breather hole since the breather for the D30A is on the stock cover.

Oh and the only diff cover they list is if you got unlucky enough to get stuck with the dreaded turdy-five rear axle.

The only reason why it’s tricky is because ARB has it listed under their Jeep Liberty product lineup. Many people (including myself) assume that ARB has it listed properly. I’m surprised they haven’t taken it off their KJ page.

Don't feel bad it got me too. You would think ARB would know the difference but hey all the companies that build D30 parts pretty much list the Liberty as being compatible with there parts. I was psych'd about a Warn cover awhile back then realized it would be covered by the Skid Plate that will one day live down there.

ARB does list a cover for the rear axle,but you have top have the D35 rear axle to install it.They do not make a 8.25 cover and do not list the D30 cover as compatible with the KJ.

They do know,look at the link posted and it clearly only lists the D35 rear cover compatible in a KJ if you have a D35 rear diff which is very rare and only for '02-'03 models only.

Let me rephrase that, I wish ARB made a rear diff cover for the 8.25.
