What is the best/cheapest way to get a tranny skid plate for my 03 Renny? I already have all the rest, but would like to cover that big, vulnerable tranny pan before it finds a can opener. Not too bad a problem in Florida, but we are headed back out West this Summer and I would like to keep the tranny pan in one piece.

one of the newer model ie: 05 tranny skids will work, just have to beat part of the upper side of it flat with a big hammer so that it clears the exhaust on the drivers side, and drill a different hole in the skid so that it lines up with pre-existing holes on the trailing side

the front side will sandwich just fine between the engine skid and the cross member

Do you know if there is a "How To" somewhere on the Lost site?

It is actually pretty self explanitory once you have the skid in hand. You will see the spot that you need to beat with the hammer.
