I got my Ranchos used. I've had my lift on for 13,000 miles. Not sure how many miles before I got them. But it seems that the back end is a little lower than the front.

What is the life of the shock and does it make sense to get new ones?

Well the height of your rig has nothing to do with your struts and shocks. That is all in the springs. If it still rides well then your shocks are fine. I can't say for sure how long the lifetime is...basically just until they lose pressure and your ride goes downhill.

It sounds like your springs might be sagging a bit if the back end hasn't always been that low. Again, nothing to get real worried about unless it is extreme.
