Are you talking about the rad skid? If so no hardware comes with it. I hopefully ordered hex nutserts. But if not I have nutserts left over from skid install and will drill out the holes. If I can' get them(hex). This is what I THINK will work. M10x1.5 rib nutserts drill out hex hole round nutserts require m13.49 hole.Thats what me packet from skids has on it.Then I will use left over bolts from gas tank skid install.I still have the nutsert install tool, so I should be OK either way.

Yes, I'm talking about the radiator skid. I guess I'll have to see what hardware I already have that might work and what I need to order. I'm not real happy the skid came without hardware or at least an instruction sheet that would show what hardware is needed. That seems kind of strange since all the other skids came with hardware and instructions. :banghead:

Maybe I'll search the internet for a pdf of the instruction sheet.

Maybe in collision manual, my dealer is not sure he can get the hex nutserts, or if they are hex. This skid is a part as in a replacement part. Not a accessory. Accessories are owner/user friendly, hardware, instruction's, paint or finish are included.Tow hooks can be a replacement part or an accessory. Replacement would be one part # and price and accessory another. If I get Hex nutserts I'll get part # and post.Sould have them Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks. If I can't find hardware to get it installed this weekend I'll be interesteed in the hardware part number if you get it. It seem strange that this is a standalone part and not an accessory. E2 must be right that this comes with the skid plate group even though nobody including the dealer seems to know that.

tested some flex without the bumpstops in the rear (didnt have the hardware at the time of install) and got some contact between the driveshaft and muffler and tank skid. guess i better get that taken care of real quick  need to get the front adjusted some more cause its not exactly sitting how high i want it.

so whenever youre wheeling w/out the front sway bar connected how do you keep it from clanking around over every bump?? or will it be out of the way?? mine is connected and i cant picture how removing quick disconnects would effect this...

I gained alittle too. Rotated tires and installed Boilers front shims. Maybe Boiler will post the pictures I emailed him.

Texas Hold'em was nice to Digger today :P

Had a $100 bucks and walked away with a nice hand full, but still not enough for a bumper. But that is ok since I just paid for a new set of tires that will be gas efficient  And a "little larger" :P

So I went to the stealership today to order these parts. They want $4.95 each and they don't have any in stock. Since I want 4 bolts instead of 2 this adds up to over $30 with tax.

The skid plate cost $27.14. I resisted the temptation to tell them where they could install their parts but I told them it is insane that the hardware costs more than the skid plate and I left.

I went to Home Depot and got the bolts for $1.04 each (I already saved $15.64 :) ). I'm not sure if the Jeep bolts are grade 5 or grade 8 bolts but I don't plan on smashing my skid plate hard enough to break 4 regular 10mm bolts anyway so I don't care. Now I just have to find the nutserts online so I don't have to go back to the stealership.

Didn't you guys get the skid plate package???
I asked if it came with it and Digger posted pictures of his and since he provided the part number thought he had to buy it too. I knew he had the skid package so I bought it too not knowing that it DOES come with the skid package. So now I have an extra one......

Mine did not come with the skid plate package. I had to order all of the skid plates. I thought the skid plate package only came with 4 skid plates: engine (or front), transmission, transfer case and gas tank. It also comes with a front tow hook. Did you get all 5 skid plates with the package?

Got all 5 and hooks.

debadged a bit more today and put on some new sticers... hoo hoo

so i got a brain twisted for you... my new tires are a 51 MAX PSI, what should i fill em up to?... i feel like ym gas mileage is suffering alot more then it should... and i think its has more to do with the PSI in then.. I'm currently at 38 psi... which is prob a bit low.... i went from 23 PMG highway to about 19-20.... i mean i expected some loww but not that much... any takers?
