I bought 4-52089341-AF Rear rubber insulator's. I'm unsure if I will use them. I have concerns stacking them,I live on very rough dirt roads. All washboards-stutter bumps, plus brine treatment to control dust.Think maybe I will wait and do a real lift. Should I use them or...... I paid $20.00.

If you want you could use one on top and bottom on each side and I don't forsee any issues.

Lots of KJ's have stacked iso's. I'm assuming plenty of KK's too, should be fine.

Yes you can combine top plate shims with a lift. At some point you can get too tall, but I have no earthly clue on a KK at what height that is. All I know is that Digger told me they'd fit, and then Cherrie confirmed it for me.

And yes, they will only lift the front. I believe she also lifted the rear with one extra iso per side.

Do you guys do clevis lifts along with your lift kits? Basically the same effects.

Actually I didn't add the rear rubber's yet. I like it better now with just the nose up higher.
I'm short and have permanent leg injuries. Plus I'm still waiting on my skinks. So anymore height would make it hard to get my kayak up on the roof.I have to use my cargo carrier as a rear step and take a milk crate as it is now!
But Boiler please consider making more things for us KK owner's.Thank-you for what you do make.
Cherrie

Yes you can do a clevis lift with the stock setup. The front is limited to maxing out the angle of the CV joints. Full droop at 24" so about 22" where diggger, bobche..., and I have ours set around. The angle is still steep but works so far.

What is your meaning of blowing your CV?

My CV Boot got ripped from the first fork design from JBA.

AND now the replaced one has an issue as I see grease!!!!! After my Anza Borrego 4x4 trip thru 18" of water and up rocks. It looked fine afterwards...well I thought but at home I saw it. YEAP grease again!

you could add JBAs 2.5 rear shocks. they wont add that much to the rear but will level it out with a 2.5 to the front, so maybe an inch... but thats another $200. at this point you should have just bought a real lift. or add some extra rubber iso's to the top or bottom to each side, which will pry add about 1/2+ inch each. i have 4 new iso's i had planned on adding to the rear of the JBA lift. that was before when it only raised it about 3" instead of the now 4.5". if you want em PM me.

Look at what I get when I take a night off :ROTFL:

My vote goes to clacker. He is at the 4.9 ~ 5.0 lift range while I'm at 4.75....

If I get this new job, It'll be 60 miles a day on it

Eddy, if you had the dealership do the work, it should have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on it....
