The shims can be used to gain a small amount of lift by themselves, or in conjunction with another lift, like OME/Rancho type lifts for some extra height.

Don't know Boiler... I think there may be a certain member that would call this ambulance chasing... :juggle:

Hmm, I've heard that before somewhere but I can't remember where...

Someone was confused about the product so I enlightened them. I'm not here to sing and dance, I'm here to make cool stuff for the Liberty and to get things into the hands of those that want them. Call it whatever you want. :SOMBRERO:

Hey don't you have another 20 or 30 threads to write about a lightbar? :goink:

edit: wait a minute...this thread was ABOUT my shims being installed. I think its fair to talk about them here...my name is in the thread title for Pete's sake! :-)r

I was busting your balls about bringing in the roof racks, skids and future bumper. Don't get your panties in a wad. I have maybe 1 about the light bar that I had made.

What are you talking about here Tom? No one other than Boiler was trying to sell anything.

He meant "well he (boiler) has to try and make a buck somewhere!"

The thing was, I wasn't selling anything, I mentioned my other products to try to show that I'm someone that has tried to build a good reputation and a product line for the KJ's, not just some guy with a bucket full of spacers, who you don't know if you can trust.

Personally I think it is ok for me to discuss my products whenever I want, but especially in a thread about them! If someone writes questions about JJ or Amsoil, I fully expect him to respond...

I get so tired of arguing about this garbage. It doesn't add to the Jeepin' experience and serves no purpose for anyone.

I'm tired of one little comment that if I were standing 3ft away from someone they would had laughed and shrugged it off turning into a big ordeal. Come on people take the little slaps and give them back. I have had more than one thing get thrown back in my face around here. Don't take yourself so seriously or you'll never get outta life alive.

Actually stump I quoted you to give you an explaination. Then I continued my thought process considering other comments, but it didn't have anything to do with you. Sorry about that.

Bigturbo: sorry to crap all over your thread. :5SHOTS:

Just as a heads up, not sure if you did the RK install yet, the RK kit will make your ride just about dead even in height front to rear. Since you added about .75" of lift in the front with the shims don't be surprised if your not even after you install the RK kit.

you can see my RK before and after pics here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3348274
