As he already said, we drove down to Creede, CO to pickup a CRD Liberty...

2005 CRD Liberty Limited
2.5" Rocky Road Lift
Magnaflow exhaust
Tinted Windows
BFG Muds

So far she ran well for the 260 miles home, i LOVE the diesel engine...so much more power than an xj and the whole car has a nicer newer feeling.

Picked it up for $9,800...which is funny because the other kid bought it april of last year from a dealer for $12,800, then put the lift, tires, exhaust etc on it :goink:

Good grief man, blow the dust off that engine. Shine those shoes, polish that buckle.

Ship shape her back to life.

Congrats, looks like a steal of a deal, how many miles?

Where does that EHM go to? Is it connected to anything or does it just go straight down?

First thing I'd do is replace the timing belt if it hasn't been done yet.

I was going to comment on the exhaust, but not the good part... Why mess with the perfectly good low-profile, non-restrictive, straight out the back method? Seems counter-productive if you ask me, and a sawzall could fix that :)

How are you guys gonna come to my backyard and not say hi? lol I live in Colorado Springs, totally wouldda met up with you. :) I believe also saw that jeep on craigslist...forever (about a couple months I think). If it's the same one, it sat around awhile on craigslist, the guy said he wanted a truck for his needs for reason for selling. Since he was trying to sell for awhile it looks like that helped in your favor to negotiate great price. It looked like a nice rig, already lifted with good tires. Congrats!

On a separate note, all of us Coloradoins and those near by need to do a trip...maybe china wall trail??? :)

Well, call it what you want....wheeling or site seeing. :) The first part of the trail a subaru could do, the second, u need to be lifted 2.5" minimum with 245's in a CRD. But more than happy to take ppl "site seeing" too. They can stay at the top for lunch while the rest of the hard core wheelers go the rest of the trail and swing back for dinner. :)
