I know that rear bumpstops are needed when lifting, but for the front I have no clue. I don't plan on a clevis lift yet, so the only thing up front will be the OME 927's and Koni struts. I thought extended bumpstops for the front (Daystar's or Teraflex) were only used for leveling out a lift later but I don't care to screw it up. :?

the bumpstops will prevent the suspension from having to much up travel, keeping it from compressing too much and rubbing tires on fender flares and such.

Fair enough. Now where do I buy them? I keep forgetting the search here is less than ideal. :dizzy:

Edit: Found some at JBA's website for $20 each, but if you know any place cheaper than do tell.

I've asked this question before myself.

I have a Rusty's OTT spacer lift on my Libby and I can tell you that extended bumpstops are required. I drove for six months without them and wound up damaging my stock front struts. Since installing a pair of Teraflex extended bumpstops I haven't had any problems. I bought mine from National 4WD for about $29 Cdn.

I'm expecting that if I ever replace my stock struts with proper longer OME struts that I'll still need the extended bumpstops.

Well I would assume so since all front struts for the KJ are the same length. :seuss:

Just ordered mine from him so no more worrying about it. I'm more concerned with my credit card limit at this point. :juggle:
