The board moved! Sorry for a truly noob question on my first post:

Burned out left brake light on a 2004 KJ Sport. I don't have a service manual. And I'm mechanically inept. Any takers?

Been a little while since I replace mine. But I remember the hardest part was when it was the on near the rear gate hinge. Other wise just remove the two screws ( I believe) from the light housing located inside the rear gate frame. The whole lense will then come out with a little effort. There are some pressure clips holding it in place. Just pull straight back from the vehicle. Once the lense is off, you'll need to remove the bulb. Grap the round plug where the wires are coming out for the bulb you wish to change and rotate it slightly. It then will pull out. Remove bulb and replace. Put everything back in reverse.

Hope this helps.

Here's my complete write-up, just ignore the part about modifying the socket.
