My KK is the first vehicle I've had with a sunroof. I like it but the air buffeting can be loud and annoying sometimes. I've considered getting the air deflector for the sunroof (see http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-US/82210699AB/partinfo.aspx?DivisionId=1&Year=2008&VehicleId=24&CategoryId=1003&pc=35649&GroupId=2023&SubGroupId=3279) but I don't know if this works very well. It isn't cheap so I don't want to buy one if it is a waste of money.

I tried to find this answer with a search but everything seemed to be about how to deal with air buffeting if you don't have the deflector (openning various combinations of other windows).

Bump.

So does the lack of response mean nobody has one of these?

I don't have one on my ride. I find the stock pop-up deflector works well. I don't get much, if any, buffeting, unless I pull down the pop-up deflector by hand. Which I have been known to do just to bug the kids. After I lock out their window controls. :-)r
Is your pop-up deflector not working properly?

I don't know if the pop up deflector is working right. I do get buffeting when I open the sunroof (unless I just pop up the rear of it). It is fairly loud but not unbearable. I'm finding that I am avoiding openning it wide open and I'm just popping it up because that is a lot quiter.

As for the Mopar version or an aftermarket one like AVS, I really don't care which one. If really they work to make things quiter, I'll look for the least expensive quality option. I already have an AVS bug deflector and that is fine so I'd be happy to go with AVS again.

Give this a try and see what happens.
Open the sunroof all the way (going 45+) and then reach up with your right hand and pull down the stock pop-up deflector. You should notice a very distinct difference.
When mine is open there is wind noise caused by the pop-up, but when you pull it down... Man it feels like your ears are going pop, pop, pop, pop, pop...
