:) Hi everyone, I bought a Renegade Kj 2005, 3.7lt in 2008 and now it have some troubles.
1- About 6 month ago the clutch started to failed so I took it to a local mechanic and he changed it, but after the repair there was a metal sound still, he told me it was normal... Now the metal sound is worse, like 2 metals rubbing each other, and I'm thinking to change the clutch again but with a specialist mechanic. Im in Venezuela, the clutch here cost around 1000$ (I know, insane) so I will buy it online luk or some good brand. Can some one tell me where should I find it, the number part, where is cheaper, or post a link so I won't make any mistakes.
2 - the passenger abs sensor, my dog recently ate the cable, and now the abs's light is always on and so is the brake light and also the speedometer wasnt working, I already put them back together and that fix the speedometer but the lights are still on!
3- the engine light is on, I search the error code "P0131 O2 Sensor 1/1 Circuit Voltage Low". What does this means? what should I do?
4- My front drive shaft is broken (trans - front diff), the head it's all damaged so I took it out and disarmed. Is there a replacement for this part or I will need to buy all the drive shaft?
5- In the highway there is always a strong sound from the wheels, I'm ridding mud tires 265/75 but some told me that it also may be the wheels bearing. Here, they are very expensive or just out of stock, so if someone can post a link where I can buy them, thankss!
6- There is always a really loud noise in the front suspension when I pass on hole in the way, it feels like everything in the front hit with something, I already checked the struts, ball joints, control arms and all that seems to be ok, I lifted the truck and I realized that there was some movement in the wheel, so I checked the tie rod end and that seems to be the cause. If that is moving, Should I change both tie rod ends (passenger and driver sides) and the inner tie rod end also? this could cause this anoying sound that appears when I pass throw some irregular ways? :?: :?:
Well I hope I will fix my libby soon and thanks for any help you can give me! :D

Problem 1 : Did they replace the throwout bearing and the pilot bearing when they replaced the clutch? A failing throwout bearing sounds like what you're describing

Problem 5 : Mud tires tend to make a lot of racket, make triple sure it's the hub before bothering with that - check www.rockauto.com for the hubs

Problem 6 : Noise could be the sway bar, get someone to clean the clamshell bushings in the center of your swaybar with some soap and water and lube them up with white lithium grease

if your tierods are sloppy, replace with Moog tierods then get it realigned

#3 - Your O2 sensor - There are 4 O2 sensors. On the left, driver's side before the converter on the exhaust is the 1/1. On the passenger side is 2/1. Then after the converter on each side you have 1/2 and 2/2. I just had to replace 2/2. You might just want to replace it or check the connections. They're not expensive or hard to replace. Just find the sensor, follow the wire to the connector and disconnect. Use a socket or an O2 sensor socket to remove it. Install the new one and connect it.

thanks, Ok I will check each one, probably I will have to replace at least one, if that is my case, Do I need to buy an especific brand or model of O2 sensor?, or I can use an universal part.

Yep, someone told me I will have to change them, here in Venezuela it's hard to find some parts of almost any brand, so if you can link me a web that I can directly buy the wheel bearings for my 2005 renegade kj. I have visited some websites but they have tons of models for KJs even for renegade there are like 10 (www.rockauto.com) this all really fits? how should I look?

Friend I also live in Venezuela and I have a 2005 sport, 6-speed should be equal to yours
1) Check the oil in the gearbox, I had almost the same problem as you describe it before i melt down my gearbox
2) You lead to reprogram the computer, when you disconnect the ABS always remains that failure
4) You can get the front drive shaft in a mechanic workshop specialized in cv , because many people change it just to change the flange (rubber seal), it can be replaced making it in leather or similar, the most recommended option is to get an driveshaft that use universal joint
5) and 6) can also be an effect of the gearbox, and you should change your inner tie rod ends
