I Have an 09 KK Limited. is there some sort of code or method that I can use to reset the memory seat easy exit feature by myself with out going to the dealer? even though the display setting says it is on, it seems that every once and a while it loses itself and the dealer has to reset it. any help is appreciated.

you want the easy exit feature or don't want it?... if you want it and it isnt working its pretty simple...first go into the EVIC menu and turn off the setting then disconnect your negative end of the battery then put it back on... then in the EVIC menu turn the easy seat exit on... this shuld have reset the system and now it should read the option again.. goodluck!

thanks for your input, I tried that with no success.. just to be clear what the problem is... with the easy exit feature turned on on the EVIC, the seat doesn't go back when I take the key out of the ignition. nor does it move forward when I turn the igntion key to start. I want it on, the dealer has reset it for me before when this happened, but I would like to know the procedure to do it myself .

you kno what i'm thinking?... have you tired presetting a seat?.... there are a few buttons to the left of the steering wheel... it should be a 1 and a 2... you have to preset the seat to a specific place ( and assign that to a button) in order to have the easy exit seat option work... give that a try... sometimes when removing the battery it resets that too... also sometimes it gets a lil funky... try making the preset then turning on the easy exit feature

I've noticed that if I muck with mine (aka - change the seat position manually - without using the 1 or 2), it seems to shut down the memory function/easy exit.

Try it, press 1 or 2 (after you've set it up to where you want it), then turn off the jeep, and pull the key out. Next, try playing with the adjustments and turn off the jeep/take the key out.

Good luck.
