Hi Guys and Gals ! I'm a new member, so I hope I get this right. I would like to lift my 2002 Liberty sport and I think I will use the frankinlift. My question is, what size wheels do I need, what backspacing etc. Also , what is the biggest tire I can run with this lift on my year liberty. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! Are you using any spacers with that set up?

Nope....just the stock wheels....no spacers....a little bit of rubbing on the swaybar....but that's par for the course...

245/75/16 fit great with stock rims, or aftermarket rims, but you can also run 265/75/16 with the stock rims BFG/AT look geat or WRANGLER/MTR.

Hey Shocker are you running 265/75/16's? What wheels are you using. I should have my lift shortly and I was thing of jumping to the 265 instead of the 245. Are there any major problems with rubbing that a little massage to the pinch weld wouldn't fix.

Thanks

Any of you guys that say there is no rubbing at all.....Bull-Lony

You ain't tried hard enough, cause even 245/70's can rub with a 2.5" lift.

BS can help in some areas....still gonna rub sometime, somewhere.

Someone said this: "exept on super tight full loc turns"

Sum words wuz missiN: "exept on super tight full loc mall parking lot turns"

Like SavageSS27 said on rubbing: "but that's par for the course"

I'm doing some math (paper) and "real world" test and quickly coming to the conclusion that with a 2.5" lift, Longer rear shocks, Stock Back Spacing, acceptable rub, HP loss, milage issues, stuffing ability, gearing change, roll stability (COG), & height gain, that the 255/70-16 could be the best tire choice for maximum ability. Still gonna rub

Hey, I wasted my money on 245/70's....I mean they are only a hair over stock tires.

Ronin, if you use the stock rims from the liberty you should'nt have any problems running 265/75/16, it rubs a bit, but a little trim will do the trick. If you change the rim size you might run into some problems like I did.
