I am having a rather unusual issue with my 04 sport.
It will start and run fine after being parked on a level surface. However after parking on the street at our baby sitters house the KJ has a hard time starting again. The drive from my office to the sitters is about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, plenty of time to get everything warmed up, and actually i just started having this issue since we got a bit warmer here in Chi-Town in the past week. I should note that i did have this same problem one time this winter, but i passed it off as i was nearly empty on the tank and figured that was the problem. However this week i have been at least half a tank when having the issue. The street that the sitter lives on is pretty heavily crowned so when parking on either side of the street you are at a noticeable angle, hence my thought that it was due to low fuel before but now i should have plenty for the pick-up to not be sucking air. It will crank and shudder and immediately die if you are just turning the key, i can give it a little gas and it will overcome the shudder and start. It also threw a P0300 code after the second day of rough starting. Oh and plugs were changed fairly recently.

Any ideas?
The only thing that i can think of right now is that with the temperature change that we are having right now maybe i have some water in the tank from condensation, but that is a ton of water if it is effecting it at a half a tank.

Thanks for your help.

Did you ever find out what was causing this to happen?

I had a similar problem. My Jeep would run fine at times and then would run rough after getting warm. Turned out that one of my spark plugs had a hairline crack and would stop sparking after a bit of driving. I would check out the little things like plugs and coil packs first.
