Does anyone know how to remove the grille from a 2010 jeep liberty?

im pretty sure there was one around the forum somewhere. i would make a how to but apparently i do it wrong cause i broke a clip

pretty much undo the clips on the top and unclip the hood latch cable and you have to pry and push and pull around the edges, its pretty easy once youve just gone and done it a time or two.

Just did it. I have the chromed grille. There is a piece of black plastic that runs behind the top of the grille. It is attached with around 5 center pin rivets. Remove the center pin then the rest of the rivet. There are 2 rivets that attach the grille to the black piece. Leave these in as it was easier to take the grille and black piece together. There are two "tabs" one on each end of the grille next to the previously mentioned black plastic piece. Push these dow to release from their catches. There are simular tabs around the headlights. The drivers side is roughly 4 oclock and the passengesr is roughly 8 oclock. After you pull the rivets and release the top tabs, gently wiggle the grille out. Be carefull with the headlight tabs as I scratched my bumper with the drivers side as I removed the grille.
Be gentle, good luck.
Dan

You'll also have to release the hood release cable from its groove.

Pop the pins, only thing thats annoying is you need a long flathead screwdriver to pop the headlight clips on the bottom left and right. Do all top pins first.
