My Liberty is going dead when I accelerate to pass. The engine is still turning while the torque converter is locked, so I can turn the ignition switch off and back on and it will start right up and run normally. It did this several times today. No air leaks, no contaminated fuel, new filter and 12 volt pump. Any ideas? Whatever is cutting the engine off is in the electrical system.
Thanks

You're going into limp mode for some reason, is your engine light on and if it is, tell us what code number you have showing. MIne did the same thing and it was P0234. Could be a broken CAC (turbo boost) hose or an air leak in the turbo system somewhere...... usually just an air leak.

I'd double check fuel and filter
I've had that happen and it was a fuel problem
lots of Powerservice helped - but a new filter and clean fuel fixed it.
