Hi Guys,
I have read many times on the internet that the front drive shaft CV joint is not able to be serviced and must be replaced with a new shaft if worn or damaged. My question is why? If you can obtain new parts you can pull them apart and rebuild them. I have just assembled one with new balls on my bench without any special tools. Are the rest of the parts available?

It is a pain in the stupid to rebuild it. Just better off getting a whole new CV/half shaft and be done with it. Less time too. I rebuilt 1 and replaced 6 after that.
