well i have only had this jeep for 8 months.

i have been useing ams oil in the jeep since i have owned it. i had planed on doing a tune up a 70,000 witch i had planed on doing the tune up first weekend of march but that was before i knew it was going to be broke down

. well i had planed on doing this but haven't done it yet. when i looked at the plugs at the shop they were ready to be changed thats for sure. there was lots of carbin build up on them.
to answer your questions:
the plugs were vary wet but only in cyilnders 2 & 4 almost like it was flooding out. the first shop i took it to they put the Autolites in and they said that it ran good for about 5 min. and then started acting up agian. when they pulled the plugs found that they were wet.
it had ngk's in there when it started acting up. but i did not try any new ngk's yet. as of right now i have spent my tune up money in laber so i have to wate till a pay check to come in. i had bought Autolites but they didn't put them all in only in 2 and 4.
this was only happing in two of cylinders and they were 2 and 4.
they were not getting compressin in cylinder 4, three out of five trys and a low compression in cylinder 2. but they didn't show me at the shop thats just what i was told.
i am not going to spend all that money on this till i know what is going on for sure. i am going to replace the two coils and all 6 ngk plugs. and do a oil change. and go from there. i also did some reading last night in my Hanse Book about the compresson testing and and how to narow the issue down. from what they said at the shop they did not do it the way the book said.
so yes i do agree with you that is why i didn't have them do anymore work on it. i told them that i didn't want them to work on it if they were just guessing!
