Hey Everyone, I am thinking about buying a libery. This is unusual to me because iv'e always been told to stay away from chrysler products due to transmission issues. Ive had a dodge transmission go in the past, but I really like the libertys syling and power. Now I have a couple questions it would be great to get some insight on. I am going to test drive this
Jeep on Saturday. From what you can see does it look like a pretty good deal and if I do end up making and offer what do you think would be reasonable, I don't buy cars to often as you can see. Also the warranty this jeep originally came with the 7, 70,000 warranty is that automatically transferrable? If it isn't and can be transferred what needs to be done to do so. Well any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
Well, first of all, Welcome to the Jeep world!! Looking at the ad, I would consider this Jeep myself if I was in the market.
My question to you is, what is your budget? Can you afford to go a little more on the cost of the vehicle? I initially started out looking for a used Renegade model, but when I realized that I could get a new one for not much more in price, well, I decided to jump on it. It all depends on what you want to spend, and how you want to spend it. A cheaper vehicle will leave you with more money for mods if you want to do that, or, just plain will be easier on the wallet.
But yes, that does look like a good price, my only area of concern would be those tires. In photo #4, the one with the rim only, it looks like there is a white band all the way around the tire. That to me indicated it was driven on by someone to the service station while it was flat. I would offer them $15000 and go from there. Are you preapproved for a loan or are you looking to finance through them? If you walk in with cash in hand, you'll get a break on the price. Just make sure you know your limits.
And yes, that warranty is transferrable. Good luck, and if you have more ??'s, ask away!!
