can someone tell me what front struts i should use instead of the RSX17505's..... i found a website that had the 17505's listed so i ordered them. payed for them... and now i got a call saying they are discontinued and the lady is gonna do some research for me into substitutes for the 17505..... i found some 17004's for the rear at advance auto parts so i picked those up too but if i have to go with another style up front, i will probably return them. i would like a matching set of shocks/struts.......

Keep the rears, they are usually pretty cheap, and are a proven entity. There is no reason why they need to be matching brands.

I know some people use OME's (NS131 Front Struts $151.55 each), check them out at:http://www.boulderbars.com/frankenlift.htm

Also I've heard the bilstein name floating around the KJ sites lately, but I'm not sure which people are using. Your other option is to search high and low for the last remaining front shocks, I still think there are probably a few pairs out there to be had. Just a matter of calling any one that sells rancho to see if they have a pair left in stock.

How many miles do you have the the Crustys lift?
The only good thing they do is use OME shocks up front with their decal on it.
If you have a lot of miles though I would switch them out
Bilstein makes a great shock
or like Boiler stated try and find the last few sets out there.
I hope you go with Bilsteins though as I need a pair of Ranchos for a friends upcoming lift :ROTFL:

ive had the current setup for about a year or so. probably 30,000 miles (i drive a lot) its sagging in the front. i just started hearing a clunkin sound from the front that leads me to believe its going out. i havent had a chance to get under there and make sure its not the upper ball joints or a-arm bushings. the lbj's were replaced right before the lift (thanks to a recall from jeep).....

i dont suppose you would let the cat outta the bag on where to get those ranchos would you...... i really need some......
