If you want to measure some things, that would help with an estimate of when it would be coming, but I'd still have to get personal with one.

Basically dimensions between all bolts would be the initial question. pitch of the roof at each point is the #2, but I'd have to measure that.

Boiler,

I'm always up for a road trip if you want some KK measurements. You did such a nice job putting my rear cargo trim back together I think I'd trust you with the roof rails. Maybe you can look the underneath over for a possible KK radiator skid as well? I'm on summer break from teaching. A few family commitments here and there. Let me know if or when you might want to compare calender dates. I know you have LOTS of stuff you're already working on.

Take care,

ds

das4x4- there are no holes for the rad skid like on the KJ that I'm aware of however there is a factory mopar radiator skid available for the KK and maybe, haven't seen under, the KJ.

I took some approx measurements before I left for work. Across the front bolts is ~49, rear is ~46 and length from most forward to most aft bolts is ~60.

I'll take you up on this once we get another rack done. Probably in a few weeks.

they pull straight up. Might seem like they'll break but they just yank off.

thanks, dirtykk.... I am hoping to remake my rack... or should I say "wanna be rack" from the factory... but maintain the original components for possible resale ... I am aiming towards the similar idea... low-profile unit, possibly no side walls. (got a few ideas bouncing around upstairs...)
