I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory alloy 15" wheels.I think I will soon be putting it out to pasture because of some transmission problems and was wondering if the 15" alloy wheels will fit on the 2009 Jeep Liberty.I want to use these 15" wheels and tires from the Grand Cherokee on my '09 Liberty for winter wheels and tires if they will fit but haven't had time to give them a try yet.I believe they are both 5x114.3 bolt pattern but I"m not sure if the 15"s will clear the Liberty's brake calipers or not.Has anyone tried this out yet or does anybody know if 15" will fit?If 15" alloys don't fit would 15" steel rims work or should I just go ahead and get some 16" rims and tires for winter instead?Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe...It will be very, very close.
My small wife was able to close the lower A-arm knuckle bolt distance by 25%, by just pushing and pulling on the top of the tire. I was amazed at how much the Steelies flex.
I ended up getting a new set of tires for my stock rims, to be on the safe side.
BTW I did check and the calipers on the 08 & 09 Liberty are the same size as my 07 N@#$o.
Not sure about the 2010?

Thanks for the info guys.I will probably go with 16" steel rims and winter tires just to be safe.Just thought that I might be able to save some money using the 15" rims and tires that I already have.

I was hoping to do the same thing, as I have 2 complete sets of those 15" rims and tires.
