I have a buddy looking at Jetta and Golf TDI's. I can't remember who here had a really nice built Jetta TDI. I was just looking for great website sources and some build mods that you would do to them. thanks

i had a TDI.. 02 jetta. Poly motor mounts, intercooler pipes, rocketchip stage 2, VR6 clutch/pressure plate, powerplus injectors, different air filter and modified air box, supersprint catless race downpipe, straight piped there on back. Hella front/rear black/tinted lights, tinted corner lights, tinted fender lights, custom paint, body kit, wheels, painted brakes, slotted/drilled rotors, eyelids on headlights, tinted windows, sound system, boost gauge in the A piller with color matched fabric and color matched gauge (matched the purple/red/blue lights). ran like the wind!!!! and still got 45 mpg.

How about some pics of that TDI KJ. Here's my car and stats:

Intercooler pipes, rocketchip stage 2, VR6 clutch/pressure plate, powerplus 520 injectors, Amsoil Eaa air filter and modified air box, supersprint race downpipe, straight piped there on back. Hella clear tail lights, clear corner lights, 18" PES wheels, slotted/drilled rotors, factory HID headlights, tinted windows, sound system, boost gauge in the A piller AUDI pedals, Oettinger roof spoiler, BORA badge, custom grill.

All 142 HP 221 lb ft torque. All that and she still gets over 60 MPG on the highway.

i had a dare plate on it.. so it was a black plate with white letters... the tacky PA plate was just on temporary. I also changed to the 'Bora" name plate. yours looks nice lowered.. always wanted to do that to mine but was afraid of the alum. oil pan getting crushed.. and was too cheap to buy the skid they sell. I bought it wrecked into a ball.. and fixed it into that. It was my first car. Your headlights are awesome! however they were not out when i was doing my car . i was just thrilled to have fog lights in my housing and not those tacky chrome headlights they came with! The jetta was sold to make way for the liberty!

KJ that car was sweet. I was in Sweden working one summer and I walked into a VW dealership and bought the components for the HID factory set up. They were never offered in the United States. The single best mod Ive done to my car!!!! I love them. Its so cool to have a sporty fast car that gets 930 miles on a 15 gallon tank! I fill up every month and a half!
